Biography

Engr. Dr. Ekeke, I. C. is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Nigeria. She obtained her first degree from FUTO, Masters degree from River State University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and Ph.D. from FUTO.

Her areas of research include, corrosion inhibition of materials, modelling and simulation of chemical processes, renewable energies and Environmental Engineering (Air pollution control).

She also has some Postdoctoral Research experience from Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Dr. Ekeke has a good number of publications spanning corrosion science, modelling/simulation, environmental engineering, etc.

Dr. Ekeke is remarkable in the way she teaches and instructs students. She employs first principle methods and always finds a way to demystify core chemical engineering courses.
