Biography
Dr. Ikeuba is a Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering at the Benjamin Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources, West Virginia University, United States of America.
Dr. Ikeuba is listed as one of the “Top 2% Scientists in the world”, according to data published on September 16, 2024, by Elsevier/Stanford University. He is also a recipient of the “SHEN Best Researcher Award” in Materials Science for Research Excellence in Materials Science and the “Overall Best Graduating Student” in 2009 at the University of Jos. He has over 100 publications in high impact journals and over 2000 citations with an increasing H-index of 29 and an i10-index of 73 as indicated in his Google scholar record as of August 2025. He has completed 80 peer reviews for prestigious journals such as Royal Society of Chemistry, Elsevier, Springer, and Emerald as indicated in his Web of Science profile as of August 2025.
Dr. Ikeuba is the principal investigator of Materials Chemistry Research Group at the University of Calabar, Calabar. He has won distinguished research grants such as the Tertiary Education Trust Fund Institutional-Based Research Grant (TETFund-IBR) and the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Research Grant. He has been invited to share his research at numerous international conferences. Dr. Ikeuba is an active member of several esteemed professional organizations, including the American Chemical Society (ACS), the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON) and the Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN).
