Biography

Dr. Nkuzinna Ogbonna Chris is a Lecturer and SIWES cordinator in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO). He holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from FUTO, and both an M.Eng. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK). He is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered engineer. He is also member Nigerian Society of Chemical Engineers.

His research focuses on metals corrosion inhibition using environmentally friendly (green) inhibitors, with the aim of developing sustainable strategies for corrosion control. He has published over thirty (30) journal articles in reputable national and international outlets, contributing to the advancement of green chemistry and engineering solutions. Beyond research, he is dedicated to teaching and mentoring, actively guiding undergraduate and postgraduate students in chemical engineering and related fields.
